Ian Pettigrew

Founder

I run Kingfisher Coaching, helping leaders to sustainably get the best of themselves and their teams. I do this through providing leadership development programmes, workshops, coaching (both online and in-person), writing, blogging, speaking/keynoting at conferences, and publishing a podcast.

I’m a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and a member of the Association for Coaching. I have deep expertise in Gallup CliftonStrengths (formerly called StrengthsFinder), in strengths-based leadership, and resilience.

Alongside my work at Kingfisher Coaching, I’m a Member of Teaching Faculty for the MSc in Digital Health Leadership at Imperial College London, I serve as a trustee on one of the Boards of Hope for Justice (a global anti-slavery charity), I’m co-founder of Connecting HR Manchester, and founder of Connecting HR for Justice (a skills-based volunteering initiative).

Prior to founding Kingfisher Coaching in 2009, I spent 20 years in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and I have extensive senior experience in leading digitally-enabled change.
